Buying or selling property?

If you are buying, we will:

  • guide you through the entire process from pre-purchase advice to settlement;
  • search the title to verify its status;
  • deal with the requirements of any lender;
  • deal with the real estate agent;
  • adjust council and water rates and any other charges;
  • arrange for the payment of Stamp Duty on the transfer;
  • lodge the transfer documents with the Land Titles Office;
  • notify the relevant authorities of the change in ownership and sending cheques for any unpaid rates; and
  • attend settlement.

If you are selling, we will:

  • prepare the contract of sale and section 32 vendor statement
  • order relevant property reports, Water Information Statement, Council Land Information Certificate and Land Tax Certificate
  • provide your real estate agent with the necessary documents and information to assist in the listing and selling process;
  • where applicable, deal with your bank’s requirements relating to the discharge of the existing mortgage on your property;
  • verify the adjustment of council and water rates, land tax, rental (if any) and other outgoings;
  • verify the transfer documents; and
  • attend settlement.
